Taxes |
The
Department of Finance is
responsible for the
administration of the City's
finances, assessment of all
properties within the City's
boundaries, and the billing and
collection of taxes and
collections of water/sewer
payments.
These functions are carried out
through three divisions:
Accounts and Treasury, Tax
Assessment, and Tax Collection.
Working within the prescribed
statutory requirements and
policies established by the New
Brunswick City Council each
division performs a specific
group of tasks that collectively
administer all aspects of the
City's finances.

Water |
|
The
Water Utility provides clean
drinking water to city residents
as well as surrounding
communities. The utility
manages water emergencies,
billing, distribution,
treatment, billing and meter
reading.

Sewer Services - 732-745-5105

Maintenance and repair of
all public sewer lines
(sanitary/storm)

Catch basin cleaning

Manhole cleaning
-
If a resident has a sewer
emergency after 4pm, they
should contact the New
Brunswick Police Department
at 745-5200 and they will
contact the appropriate
Public Works employee.
