With the onset of spring, city residents should also be aware that it is also the onset of mosquito breeding season. Outside containers, unopened swimming pools and any place where water can pool and stagnate will breed mosquitoes and invite West Nile Virus. As a result the City and the Middlesex County Mosquito Extermination Commission ask that every resident work to reduce the number of places where mosquitoes can breed.
If
you know of a pool or large potential mosquito breeding ground call
the Middlesex County Mosquito Extermination Commission at (732) 549-0665
or 1454.
