City Welcomes Six New Officers to the Ranks of the NBPD
The City of New Brunswick’s Police Department welcomed six new officers to its ranks on June 12 during a swearing-in ceremony at City Hall.
Officers Josue Plaza, Paul Palma, William Krapf, Jon Hamann, Daniel Faller and Matthew Beltranena are fresh off 21 weeks of extensive training at the Cape May Police Academy. Mayor Jim Cahill administered the oath of office to the new officers as they stood before friends, family and fellow officers at City Hall.
“All of us who work for New Brunswick have the same responsibility – service to the public,” said Mayor Cahill. “It is with that in mind that I welcome each of these new officers to our City family, as we all work together as a united team with a common goal of service to the people of our community.”
