Celebrate Juneteenth in New Brunswick!

A network of community groups invite the public to join them in celebration of the holiday of Juneteenth, marked all this month with film screenings, a parade and heritage celebration and an evening program and documentary screening.

Juneteenth is an American holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865 abolition of slavery and emancipation of slaves in the United States.

All are invited to participate in the following free community events:

On June 16th, the Vulcan Pioneers of New Brunswick will host a Juneteenth Parade and Heritage Festival, kicking off at 11 a.m.
