State Division of Fire Safety Announces Fee Changes for Smoke and CO Detector Compliance Certificates
Recently, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Fire Safety made changes to fees for Fire Safety.
Effective immediately the cost for a Certificate of Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Compliance (CSDCMAC) has been changed, depending on the date of submission relative to the date of a change in occupancy.
CSDCMAC applications that are received more than 10 business days prior to the change of occupant now cost $45.
CSDCMAC applications received 4-10 business days prior to the change of occupant now cost $90.
CSDCMAC applications received fewer then four business days from the change of occupant now cost $161.
