Resources for Residents to Use to Help Hurricane and Earthquake Victims
Many families in the southern United States, our Gulf Coast, the Caribbean, Mexico and Puerto Rico are still recovering from devastation and flooding caused by three hurricanes and two earthquakes that have struck in recent weeks.
As a caring and giving community, and with many New Brunswick residents with family and friends affected by Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Maria, and the earthquakes in Oaxaca and near Mexico City, please consider giving to those who desperately need help. For those wishing to help, you may want to look to the following agencies handling relief in these affected areas:
The City of New Brunswick Fire Department will also hold a kickoff for a supply drive from noon-6 p.m. this coming Saturday at fire headquarters, 93 Joyce Kilmer Avenue. Please see the flyers below for more information and acceptable items to be donated.
