Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital’s emergency room will be the site of an expansion project this month that will affect traffic patterns on Little Albany Street.

As of March 26, emergency room visitors will still be able to access the emergency room via a designated drop-off spot at the intersection of Somerset Street and Little Albany Street. Little Albany Street will be open only to emergency transport vehicles between the emergency room entrance and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ through July 2018.

Vehicles accessing the Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ or the parking deck should use Easton Avenue to access Little Albany Street. These areas will be not accessible via the Somerset Street entrance to Little Albany.
