City Welcomes Rutgers University Students For 2019-2020 School Year

Today marked "move-in day" for the Freshman class of Rutgers University's Honors College, and among those assisting with the unloading and unpacking was a team of City volunteers, lead by New Brunswick Mayor Jim Cahill. As anxious parents pulled their cars and minivans to the curb in front of the dorm on Seminary Place, a group made up of New Brunswick police officers, firefighters, recreation employees, and city hall staffers scrambled to unload laundry supplies, coffee makers, clothes and other belongings of the new students.

The campus-wide move-in day is scheduled for Thursday August 29.

Welcome back to all Rutgers students, and best of luck in the new school year!
