NBFD Fights Prostate Cancer as Well as Fires in September

2019 charity tee shirts.
September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and the City of New Brunswick is again offering special shirts as a fundraiser to help raise money to combat prostate cancer in our local community.
Now through September 30th, all members of the New Brunswick Fire Department will perform their duties in the custom-made shirts to raise visibility and awareness for the cause.
The shirts are available for a donation of $20 each. Hooded sweatshirts are also available for a $30 donation.
100 percent of the proceeds benefit Renaissance Cyclists Defeating Cancer United (R. C. D. C. U.)
“Prostate cancer has impacted the lives of many people in our local community. Our department is proud to do our part to help those who have been affected,” said New Brunswick Fire Director Robert Rawls.
To purchase a shirt or a sweatshirt, please contact Cheryl Smith at NBFD headquarters at (732) 745-5254.
