Work Set to Start on Livingston Avenue Complete Streets Redevelopment Project

Starting Tuesday, work is scheduled to begin on the Livingston Avenue Complete Streets Redevelopment Project. While the road resurfacing work won’t take place until later this year, the first phase of the project involves pruning, and in some cases, removing trees along the Avenue.

Tuesday morning, the tree work will take place between Elizabeth and Rutgers Streets, which includes Charles, Loretto, May, Juliet, and Ellen Streets.

No full or partial road closures are expected, but some utility trucks will be parked on the nearby shoulders.

The work is expected to begin at 7 a.m., and conclude no later than 7 p.m.
