Ability to Obtain Important Permits & Forms for Construction Work in the City Available Online

When an essential business like construction must continue in the midst of a Statewide stay-at-home directive, having around-the-clock access to important forms and documents is critical to meeting tight deadlines. Public access to New Brunswick City Hall is restricted due in part to Governor Murphy’s recent orders to help slow the spread of COVID-19, but official forms and documents can be easily downloaded anytime through the City website, cityofnewbrunswick.org.

A recent Order from Governor Phil Murphy identifies which businesses in the State are deemed “essential” or “non-essential,” with all “non-essential” ones having already been ordered closed. For those in the construction trade, an ‘essential” business, the City’s website, cityofnewbrunswick.org, makes accessing forms and documents as easy as a few clicks.

Around-the-clock access is available for forms like Construction PermitsCertificate of Continuing Occupancy, Certified Property List Request, and a Contact Information Sheet

To download these and other forms and documents, visit cityofnewbrunswick.org, hover on “How Do I” in the upper right corner, then click “Find A Form”.
