City Hall Offers Residents Outdoor Drop Box to Collect Permits & Applications
The current stay-at-home directive from Governor Murphy in response to the current COVID-19 outbreak still allows residents to visit essential businesses like grocery stores and medical facilities. When making important stops during the minimal time you’re spending out of the house, remember New Brunswick City Hall is accepting completed permit applications as well as tax and water and sewer payments during normal business hours.
While members of the public wishing to do business with the City will not have access to the inside of City Hall or Civic Square, they may take advantage of a secure drop box, which closely resembles a library book drop or mail collection box, to drop off any correspondence, payments, applications, or other documents with City departments. The clearly marked and weatherproof drop box, located right outside the rear entrance of City Hall, will be available during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will not be left outside unattended. As a reminder, please do not make cash payments using the drop box. Only checks and money orders will be accepted.
