New Brunswick City Planning Board Will Meet by Electronic Teleconferencing at 7:00 P.M. on June 8

CHANGE OF MEETING LOCATION FROM THE NEW BRUNSWICK CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS 78 BAYARD STREET TO TELEPHONIC CONFERENCING SYSTEM, AND REVISING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION OF THE MEETING OF THE NEW BRUNSWICK CITY PLANNING BOARD SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 8, 2020 AT 7:00 P.M.

The New Brunswick City Planning Board will meet by electronic teleconferencing at 7:00P.M on June 8. Please be advised that due to the current state of emergency and public health emergency declared by Governor Phil Murphy pursuant to Executive Orders, guidelines from the CDC and in an effort to prevent further spread of COVID-19, the general public are unable to attend in person.  Participation will be revised from attending this Planning Board meeting in person to telephonic conferencing for this City Planning Board Meeting. Members of the public will be able hear all business and testimony, and to give public comment during public comment portions of the meeting through telephonic conferencing. To participate you must phone-in by dialing (408) 418-9388 and enter access code 710-200-298. City Staff will be available, to offer technical support, by phone, by calling (732) 745-5007. The telephonic conferencing system will be activated at 6:50 P.M on June 8, 2020. Formal action will be taken during this meeting.             Preliminary and final site plan application with bulk variances to convert the existing building, which contains office space on the first and second floors and an apartment on the third floor, to all office space, eliminating the residential apartment. The applicant also proposes a new monument sign. Zoning district C-3A. (Peter U. Lanfrit, Esq.)

Preliminary and final site plan application for the construction of a multi-story medical office building comprised of ±228,000 gross square feet of new medical office space to support existing functions of the adjacent hospital. The site is in the Healthcare Institutional Office (HIO) Zone, as defined by the French-Prospect Redevelopment Plan. The applicant is seeking a deviation from the standards of the redevelopment plan for insufficient parking. (Thomas Kelso, Esq.)
