Volunteers Sought to Help Out at Halloween Trunk or Treat

Community groups and volunteers are still sought to help Unity Square host a special Halloween event for New Brunswick kids on Wednesday, October 31 at Lord Stirling Community School, 101 Redmond Street.

Trunk or Treat is a contained Halloween trick-or-treating event in which children are invited to the school parking lot to trick or treat out of the backs of the cars of community groups and residents.

The event runs from 5-7 p.m. It is free and open to the community. Volunteers are requested to be on site from 4:15 – 8:30 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to bring their cars to trunk-or-treat to hand out candy as well as help organizers with tasks during the event. Candy donations are also being accepted to be handed out at the event.

For more information, please call Unity Square at (732) 545-0329.
