Honor a Local Veteran with our Hub City Heroes Banner Program

Hub City Heroes

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (July 6, 2021) - The Office of Veteran Affairs through New Brunswick's Division of Human Services has established the “Hub City Heroes” initiative.

This initiative honors local veterans who have served in all branches of the United States Armed Forces, by placing banners on lamp posts throughout the City of New Brunswick.

The eligibility requirements include present or prior service in the Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, and Women's Air Force Service Pilots. 

Applicants must also have lived in New Brunswick at any time past or present.

Please complete the application, and mail with the required documentation and payment (check payable to New Brunswick VFW) to

Please note that applications are accepted by US postal mail only. Deadline to apply is July 31, 2021.
