NOTICE TO BIDDERS
 FAIR AND OPEN PROCUREMENT PROCESS

 The City of New Brunswick is soliciting proposals to perform or furnish the following professional services which are more fully described in the proposal packets available in the Office of the City Engineer, 25 Kirkpatrick Street, and which are available from said office weekdays between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, telephone number 732-745-5056.  Proposals must be submitted in the form provided in the proposal packet.

 2020 Miscellaneous Supplemental Engineering Services
 No. 935-20RFP
 
 These proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.  Sealed responses to these requests are required to be delivered to the City Clerk’s Office, Room 201, City Hall, 78 Bayard Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901, on or before 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2020.  The envelope containing a proposal shall be plainly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope to show the services for which the proposal is submitted, i.e. Miscellaneous Supplemental Engineering Services.

 At the designated time and place for the receipt of proposals, the City Clerk will publicly open and read the name and proposed fee for all the responses received.

 All contracts pursuant to the fair and open process will be awarded by a majority vote of the City Council at a public meeting.

 Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of  N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27

Persons awarded a contract under these procedures are required to comply with the requirements for Business Entity Disclosure Certification, Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations, Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990, P.L. 2004, C19.  “The New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play” Law (N.J.S.A. 19:44-A-20.4 et seq.) and New Jersey Campaign Contributions and Expenditure Reporting Act (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-1 et seq.).  According to 40A:11-23, the City is prohibited from receiving bids on Mondays or any day directly following a State or Federal Holiday.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
 Sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Board of the City of New Brunswick, NJ at City Hall, 78 Bayard Street, New Brunswick, NJ.  The bids will be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time for Furnish and Delivery of Regulatory Signs, Specification No. 933-19, for the City of New Brunswick.
The work will be in accordance with the specifications prepared by Thomas D. Valenti, Director of Engineering and Public Works and adopted by the City Council of the City of New Brunswick, NJ which specifications are now on file in the City Engineer's Office, 25 Kirkpatrick Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 where they may be seen or procured by bidders. 
Each bidder is required to bid on only a fixed price, which will be maintained throughout the contract.Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond payable to the City Treasurer of the City of New Brunswick, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to him he will enter into a contract therefore.  The amount so deposited shall be ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00.
N.J.S.A. 40A11-14, provides that the Governing Body of any municipality may provide the form and manner of approval of all guarantee, indemnity, fidelity or other bonds required.
Bidders must comply with P.L.1963 Chapter 150 (Prevailing Wage), P.L.1975 Chapter 127, N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq., N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., P.L. 1977 Chapter 33 and with P.L. 1999 Chapter 238.  In addition, all bidders must comply with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act - N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.  Bidder must furnish a copy of their State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate prior to award of contract in order for the contract to be awarded. Persons awarded a contract under these procedures are required to comply with the requirements for Business Entity Disclosure Certification, Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations, Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990, P.L. 2004, C19, The New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play Law (N.J.S.A. 19:44-A-20.4 et seq.), New Jersey Campaign Contributions and Expenditure Reporting Act (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-1 et seq.) and the Disclosure of Investment Activity in Iran. NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 Sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Board of the City of New Brunswick, NJ at City Hall, 78 Bayard Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.  The bids will be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time for Remsen Avenue Fire Museum Fit-Out, Specification No. 929-19 for the City of New Brunswick.
 The work will be in accordance with the specifications prepared by DI Group Architecture and adopted by the City Council of the City of New Brunswick, NJ which specifications are now on file in the City Engineer's Office, 25 Kirkpatrick Street, 2nd Floor, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 where they may be seen or procured by bidders for a non-refundable fee of $75.00.             
Each bidder is required to bid on only a fixed price, which will be maintained throughout the contract.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond payable to the City Treasurer of the City of New Brunswick, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to him he will enter into a contract therefore.  The amount so deposited shall be ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00.
