Tropical Storm Ida - Small Business Assistance

On September 3, 2021, Governor Murphy announced $10 million in financial relief for small businesses impacted by Tropical Storm Ida.  This relief plan was approved by the NJEDA on September 8, 2021 and will provide grants to New Jersey small businesses impacted by severe weather caused by Tropical Storms Henri and Ida.

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority
(NJEDA) is administering the program, which will provide short-term, immediate rent/mortgage reimbursement support to New Jersey businesses and non-profits with up to 50 employees that suffered physical damage and flooding during and after Tropical Storms Henri and Ida.

If applying for any type of assistance, be sure to take photos to document all damage resulting from Tropical Storms Henri and Ida to ensure you have proper verification of impact that will be necessary for all insurance claims and any federal or state relief programs.
