*** The New Jersey State Supreme Court has suspended all in-person Municipal Court proceedings.
In lieu of in-person sessions,New Brunswick Municipal Court is functioning with scheduled, virtual hearings using the Zoom app technology. Additionally, prosecutors are actively extending plea bargains by mail. Disregard court notices previously sent to you. Court users may receive additional Notices and instructions for virtual hearings or plea offers.
For your convenience, you can access the Plea Bargain by Mail form, or the form to Register for Virtual Hearing. You may download these forms, fill out, and then submit by:

Methods of Payment
Online: Payments for parking, certain traffic matters, traffic time payments, and criminal time payments can be paid through WWW.NJMCdirect.com.
Dropoff: Additionally, while the Violation Bureau is closed to the public, payments for parking, traffic and criminal may be placed in the drop box located in the back lobby of the Public Safety building near the Health Department. Entrance is located in the back of the building off the City Hall parking lot.
Filing of Private Citizen Complaints
Anyone wishing to file a Private Citizen Complaint needs to contact the court for an apointment at 732-745-5089, or email staff at: email@example.com.
